Basis – Peroneus Neuropathie

Echo is ook bij peroneus (druk)neuropathie complementair aan EMG, helpt bij lokaliseren (ontbreken geleidingsstoornissen of uitsluitend axonale schade) en vaststellen van de aard van de afwijking (tumor, cyste, intraneuraal ganglion, etc).(1, 2)

Meting:

• Zenuwdikte (CSA) thv knie naast bicep femoris, fibulakop.(1)
• Aanwezigheid van hypervascularisatie.
• Scannen proximale segment tm ischiadicus en beoordeling op specifieke afwijkingen (tumor, cyste, intraneuraal ganglion, etc).
